On the invitation of American Associations “Advocates International”, a delegation from the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, headed by Dr. Vladimir Kristo, President of this Court, has paid a study visit in Washington D.C., United States of America, on April 20 – 26, 2009.

During its stay in Washington D.C., the Albanian delegation has taken part in some important events such as the visit in the Supreme Court of the United States of America, the Federal Court of Appeal for the Washington District, Federal Judicial Center, Capitol Building, the visit in the Sandra Day O ’Conor Center at the Georgetown University, the meetings with professors and students of this university etc.

The delegation held meetings with high personalities of the American judicial system as the Supreme Court justice, Stephen Breyer, justices from the Court of Appeal, Douglas Ginsburg, Karen Henderson and Brett Kavanaugh, as well as the meeting with the senator of the State of Minnesota, Amy Klobuchar.
