Official meetings for the year 2015

At the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, Bashkim Dedja, a delegation of the Constitutional Court of Macedonia visited the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, on 11-13 November 2015.

At the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania a delegation of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro composed of the President of the court, Ms. Desanka Lopičić, and judges, Mr. Dragoljub Drašković and Ms. Mevlida Muratovic, made a visit to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, on 21-23 October 2015.

On 6 - 7 October 2015 a delegation of the Turkish Court of Jurisdictional Disputes composed of Mr. Serdar Özgüldür, President of the Court, Mr. Nuri Necipoğlu, vice-President, Mr.Ufuk Yeşil, Secretary General, and the judges: Ms. Gülten Fatma Büyükeren, Ms. Gülşen Akar Pehlivan, Mr.Selim Şamil Kaynak, Mr. Taşkin Çelik, Ms. Birgül Yiğit, Mr. İsmail Sari, Ms. Filiz Budak, made a working visit at the Constitutional Court of Albania.

On 16 September 2015, the President of the Constitutional Court of Albania, Mr. Bashkim Dedja received the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, Ms. Arta Rama - Hajziri.

The President of Constitutional Court, Mr. Bashkim Dedja held a working meeting with experts of the European Commission in Albania in the framework of the ongoing of justice reform process. The delegation of experts was headed by Mr. Gianluigi Pratola.

On 7 April, 2015, the President of the Constitutional Court of Albania Mr. Bashkim Dedja, held a formal meeting with a delegation of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, headed by the President of the Court, Mr. Enver Hasani. The delegation was in Albania for a two-day working visit and held several meetings with the highest state authorities of our country.

In cooperation with EURALIUS IV, in the framework of the joint project EU / CoE “Support to Efficiency of Justice – SEJ”, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Council of Europe, a report has been prepared on the Individual Evaluation of Judges in Albania.

On January 28, 2015, the President of the Constitutional Court Mr. Bashkim Dedja, received at the premises of the Constitutional Court the President of the Venice Commission, Mr. Gianni Buquicchio, who met later also with other members of the Constitutional Court.

On January 16, 2015, the Secretary General of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, Mr. Andreas Kiefer, was received in an official meeting in the Constitutional Court of Albania, by Mr. Sokol Berberi, member of the Constitutional Court, and Mr. Kujtim Osmani, Secretary General of the Court, and Mrs. Elsa Toska, legal adviser to the President of the Court.
